According to the provisions of the new mandatory national standard for electric bicycles issued by the state, the safety technical specifications for electric bicycles, the electric bicycles shall meet the following requirements. 1. Have the ability to ride on foot; 2. With electric drive or/and electric auxiliary function; 3. When driving with electric drive, the maximum design speed shall not exceed 25 km/h; 4. When the speed exceeds 25 km/h, the motor shall not provide power output; 5. The mass of a fully assembled electric bicycle shall be less than or equal to 55 kg; 6. The nominal voltage of the storage battery shall be less than or equal to 48 V; 7. The rated continuous output power of the motor shall be less than or equal to 400 W.
